Description
"Pictured is a group of vaious models of new Knox automobiles in a Portland Company building, which still stands there today. It was common practice to drive these open cars in the dead of winter in February, through the cold and snow to Boston for the annual automobile show there and then to the Portland show one week later."--Fletcher, David H. 'The Portland Company 1846-1982.' Charleston, S.C. : Arcadia Pub., 2002. 83.
