Description
Elmer "Mose" Eggert was a veteran of World War II (BN) who played in 5 games for the Boston Red Sox in 1927.
Eggert was born in Rochester, NY. He mostly played third base in the minors while he played second base in the majors (he was in the field in only one of his five major league games).
He played third base on one of the top minor league teams, the 1932 Tulsa Oilers who went 98-48. He hit .309 with 14 triples in 99 games.
