Description
The photograph depicts a celebration being held in Fairmount Cemetery located at 2 Houlton Road in Presque Isle, Maine. In the center of the photograph, the Civil War Monument is festooned with garland. In addition to civilians, the cemetery is full of representatives of the military and a band. It is not known the exact purpose of the celebration.
