Description
Hurd House, ca, 1800. Photo taken possibly later than 1910, showing the south face of the house. The house stayed in the Hurd family until 1950. Photo says "Aunt Ellen, my Mother, Delia, Uncle Jim, & Grammy." House is of post and beam construction.
Delia Hurd was considered a great fiddle player in the Acton area. The family burial plot is across the road.
