Description
"Johnny was one of the quaintest of Skowhegan's early citizens. He came from Canada in very early days. This picture shows him near the residence of John A. Colby, on Pleasant Street, for whom he worked for many years. He was a father of a large family and many of his descendants are yet residents of Skowhegan.
~ Roland T. Patten, Custodian of Historical Views, 1929"
