Description
Simeon Malone of Portland wrote a letter to Mr. Evans of the Sanitary Commission a day after he had sent another letter concerning the death of Malone's brother.
Malone asked Evans to forward the letter to Rebecca Usher, a nurse from Hollis, with whom he was acquainted, hoping she would be able to find information for him.
