Description
"Taken from about the center of the river. High School building is prominent about the center of the picture. Old wooden bridge at left was replaced by present iron structure in 1904. The Congregational Church shows beyond the High School and the spire of the Methodist Church shows at the extreme right. All of the wooden buildings at the right hand of the picture have been removed and this entire location completely changed by the erection of the Central Maine Power Company dam and Weston power station.
