Description
"Mr. Fuller deeded this property to the Smiths June 6, 1887. He had previously occupied it as a dry goods store for many years. The gentleman at the left is Joseph N. Smith; in the center, the late I. J. Smith. The lady at the right is the late Miss Clara Vosmus, employed by the Smiths for many years. This firm dealt in musical instruments and for a time sold bicycles. Few Skowhegan firms have a longer business history. It is still continued, Myron J. Smith having become a partner.
~ Roland T. Patten, Custodian of Historical Views, 1929"
