Description
Uncle Steve Kimball was a fiddler.
Pauline W. Moore in her book, Blueberries and Pulsey Weed wrote, "A group of square dancers from Lovell were invited to go to New York and perform at Don Dickerman's nightclub, The Country Fair. Uncle Steve Kimball was the fiddler.
"The New Yorkers could not believe that this was not a group of actors dressed for the occasion. They came up to Uncle Steve and pulled his long beard with a quick a painful jerk expecting it to come off."
