Description
Charlotte E. Hobbs of Lovell was one of the first women from Lovell to graduate from college. This photograph of her was taken in 1902 upon her graduation from Wellesley College, Wellesley, Mass.
She taught school briefly but then went on to devote the remainder of her life operating the local library, doing historical research about Lovell's history and its families, and promoting the maintenance and upkeep of the Lovell cemeteries.
