Description
This woman, in federal period dress, is probably a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. The DAR was instrumental in procuring funds and erecting Montpelier, a replica of the Thomaston mansion built by General Henry Knox in 1794 and razed in 1871.
She is pictured in front of the replica at its dedication on July 25, 1931.
