Description
A hilltop view of Kingfield village, looking to the northeast down High Street, around 1895.
This photo was taken from a vantage point just beside the Universalist Church.
The octagonal structure visible at the base of the hill was a bandstand (later a gazebo) situated at the intersection of Depot and Main streets.
