The Chamberlain family of Bristol kept a daily journal of farming and community activities.
William Chamberlain, his sons, David and Henry; and his grandson Henry H. Chamberlain kept the journal.
Included are entries about the weather, sailing ships arriving and departing, guests, planting, mowing and harvesting activities. These entries are from Sept. 11-Sept. 19, 1851
