Description
This stereo card shows a view looking west from the roof of the Custom House. From the right foreground, Limerock Street curves sharply to the northwest. Union Street crosses Limerock Street from the right, and High Street intersects Limerock Street from the left, at the bend in the road. The large Rockland Shoe Company building is on the south side of Limerock Street in the distance. The shoe company and its building moved to Warren in 1882.
