Description
This is probably one of the last photographs taken of Lewiston's "Gas Patch." This appears to have been taken during its demolition. The 'Gas Patch' was an area of Lewiston where Irish immigrants built single family homes on Franklin Company land that were very close to Lewiston's gas works.
