Description
Restoration took place between 1991 and 2002 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Lewiston. The scaffolding and construction workers were a common site at the church for quite some time. Founded in 1870, Saints Peter and Paul Parish is the oldest parish in the Portland diocese for French-speaking Catholics. In the mid-1980s, it was also the second-largest church in New England.
