Description
This store was at Leeds Center on the site of the current Veteran's Park. The sign on the front says: W. Scott Lane. The post office was also housed here. The card has "and John Collins house" penned in on the front along with the printed "Lane's store and post office Leeds, Maine". To the right of the store is a small enclosure which may be gas pumps.
This store was later operated by Earl Lane and even later, turned into a moccassin shop by Alden Grant who made hand sewn moccassins.
