Description
David Duran of Casco was a "Republican, Universalist, farmer and lumberman, married: age 56. Born in Durham, and attended the common school. Selectman several years, and member of legislature in 1868 and 1879. Formerly a whig." -Biographical sketches of the members of the Senate and House of Representatives of Maine, v. ix.
