Description
This early 1930s view of Boothbay's inner harbor from Mt. Pisgah (a hill northeast of town) was often photographed. The footbridge (built in 1901 to connect the east side of town to the west) is in the foreground. A three-masted schooner is tied up at the steamer wharf in town, and several large schooners are rafted together in West Boothbay Harbor in the background. The cold storage building with the sagging roof collapsed in 1936.
