This old homestead houses the society's collections and the Charter Meeting Room. The barn is home to the John L. Towle Antique Tool Collection.

Ted Simanek is originally from the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, area and spent many summers at Webb Lake and Camp Kawanhee before moving permanently, with his wife Betty, to Weld, in 2001.
