Description
Keith's Theater on Congress Street in Portland occupied part of the former Preble House Hotel. To the left in the photograph is the wrought-iron fence that surrounds the Wadsworth-Longfellow House and Maine Historical Society's 1907 building.
The photograph appears to have been taken when the Preble Street side of the hotel was demolished to make way for the Chapman Bank Building in 1924.
