Description
This view of Main Street looking north features a corner of the wooden Spofford Block on the left, containing A.R. Bills Boot and Shoe Manufacturer, and the two sections of the large Berry Block beyond. The older part of the Berry Block, rebuilt right after the fire of 1853, is on the left; and the newer half of the Berry Block, built in 1854, is on the right, on the corner of Limerock Street.
