Description
21 Bodwell Street (formerly #15), Sanford, ca 1900. This house was built in the 1880s and appears on the Bird's Eye View of Sanford published in 1889. Typical of the solid middle income houses of the period, the house was built with considerable style. Finish boards under the eves and corners, paneling around the bay windows, solid window frames, shutters that actually closed and open porches were standard features. The features of the house are now masked by vinyl siding.
