Description
Charlotte E. Hobbs in the Lovell Library around 1960. Charlotte Hobbs is on the left. Daughter of John and Dora Hobbs of Lovell, Maine. She graduated from Wellesley College in 1902. She taught briefly then devoted her life to the local library and doing research on Lovell history and Lovell family genealogies. She oversaw the maintenance of the local cemeteries and inspired public awareness of these cemeteries.
