In 1934 and 1935 Louise Surette of Mexico spent time at Children's Hospital in Portland for the treatment of scoliosis. She was 16 years old.

Surette took photos of other patients at the hospital. The two girls in the picture are only identified as "Delina" and "Alzena." Their beds had been moved outside into the sunshine.

Surette, of Mexico, was 16 years old when she went to the hospital for treatment of sciolosis, or curvature of the spine.

Surette, the daughter of George and Mary Surette of Mexico, was 16 when she went to the hospital to be treated for scoliosis. She took photos of a number of other patients and staff during her stay at the hospital.
