Description
Associated with Donald Davidson Dodge (1889-1974) this wool hunting shirt with shell buttons is indicative of clothing he wore while hunting near his home in Rockport. When hunting, Dodge often paired a collared shirt with breeches, boots, a flat cap and a jacket or cardigan sweater. An avid bird hunter, Dodge also hunted in the American south.
