Description
Horace Nicholas (left), was Passamaquoddy Tribal member who, along with a member of the Penobscot Nation in the back of the canoe, guided governor of Maine, Carl E. Milliken, to the "Indian Village" set up in Deering Oaks Park, Portland, as part of the Maine Centennial celebration.
This photo was on page nine of the Saturday, July 3, 1920 of the Portland Evening Express.
