Description
Students in the Household Arts program at Farmington State Normal School were required to wear a specific uniform for cookery lessons. It consisted of a plain white tailored skirt, a white tailored shirtwaist with full or 3/4 sleeves and a soft or stiff turnover collar, and a plain gored apron with bib and pockets.
Students were also required to have two plain white linen towels. This group of students looks well turned out in their cookery outfits.
