Interview with Dick Whitmore
Growing up, many people influenced me and got me involved in sports. I played basketball at Bowdoin College and coached high school basketball after graduation. For forty years I worked as the basketball coach and 16 years as athletic director for Colby College. Co-directed the Pine Tree Basketball Clinic for 38 years.
As a board member of the Maine Sports Hall of Fame, I continue to be very involved in Maine sports.
