In this conversation Vincent Vanier describes what he found teachers were looking for in the earliest professional learning experiences as one-to-one laptops came into their classrooms. He began his career as a middle school math and science teacher and became the technology coordinator in Madawaska, Maine by the time the Maine Learning Technology Initiative (MLTI) was beginning.
