John Brooks "Jack" Howard (1875-1971) photographed four unidentified men enjoying themselves in a rustic campground at Black Pond, Sedgwick, Maine; one man is holding a game bird.
The glass plate was stored in an acidic paper sleeve with the notation: "Number. 110A | Name. Group in woods." A version of this photograph rendered as a lantern slide is labeled "The Bunch - Black Pond."
