Description

A horse-drawn wagon transporting canoes and provisions through the woods. A guide, "Otis," stands holding an axe astride a log that blocks the path of the wagon; another guide, "Bill," wearing a white cap, sits on the wagon; Philip J. Teele (1872-1944) stands in the foreground, a rifle on his shoulder.
